Carol wants to preserve our rural environment.

Open space is an invaluable recreation resource that also increases all our property values.

As the little remaining open space in the Southern California area is developed, La Habra Heights will truly be seen as a desirable home and oasis in an urban desert.

Fact: In 1992 , an outside developer purchased Powder Canyon. The council majority supported changing the General Plan to accommodate the outside developer and to allow extensive grading (over 10 million cubic yards of dirt) and over 150 homes. The Council spent $400,000 of taxpayer monies to cover the outside developer's costs hoping the money would be recouped.

Fact: Carol actively opposed the project.
